March 15 International day against police brutality

March 14, 2011 Infoshop News

March 15th, the international day against police brutality, draws near and
in communities worldwide people are organizing against violent police
forces and opposing the racist, classist, homophobic, and patriarchal pigs
who serve these oppressive systems. In toronto, and across southern
ontario, the flames of injustice burn as police continue to act with
impunity towards any who challenge (their) authority – merely through a
person’s existence, or as a result of one’s active resistance.

While ever shrinking support for social services are further pillaged or
privatized for short-sighted capitalist greed, millions of dollars are
added to the bank accounts and budgets of the toronto police services, and
billions more are dumped into the state’s repressive security structure.
On the streets, in the courts, and in the dehumanizing cages of jails,
police goons (without forgetting their vile masters) who assault, harass,
infiltrate, rape, torture, and murder, roam free as families are torn
apart and friends are abducted or dispatched. The long term health of
cultures and communities are treated as an affront to this so-called
‘civilized’ society, and as an enemy of this neoliberal economic order.

Our communities have had enough and we are fighting back. In time, all
pigs will pay; we see this around the word as the sparks of resistance
have ignited wildfires of revolution. Justice will be built in the ruins
and the ashes of every police state.

OCAP in toronto have called for a demonstration against police brutality
and in support of the victims of police violence. This demo will begin at
5pm on March 15th outside of 51 division (Front and Parliament St). It is
an open rally but the police will be typically aggressive as we all tell
them to get off of these streets, disengage from our lives, disappear from
our communities, and dismantle themselves. We respectfully call for a
loud, black-flag waving Anarchist presence and demand that the police
respect the safe space created by our ally’s event. We know the pigs fear
an organized and unified rival, so always roll with a tight crew, and
always protect each other from their attacks!

All Cops Are Bastards.

We echo the call: No more Police brutality! No more impunity!
