On April 16, 2010 an unarmed Haitian American man by the name of Fritz Louissaint was
shot 5 times at point blank range by Rahway Police. Three of the bullets struck him in
the chest. He survived the incident and is currently being held at the Union County Jail.
Several witness accounts strongly contradict Rahway Police accounts of this incident. A
second rally is being held at the Rahway Police Department this Saturday November 6 at
12pm in order to let the police department know that this behavior will not be tolerated.
Attendees will be asked to sign petitions asking the State to intervene and investigate
this case. The article which portrays the official position of the police can be found at
the following site:

& the real story can be found here:

Please come out to demand his immediate release & for the Rahway police to retract their
fabricated story and drop all charges against him!
