Appeal filed on Carrie Feldman’s behalf

An appeal of Judge Jarvey’s ruling denying Carrie’s release was filed this
week in federal court on Carrie’s behalf. Jarvey ruled that Carrie can
still be held in contempt in order to coerce her testimony. The ruling
came despite the fact that nothing suggests Carrie will ever testify, and
also despite the fact that the statute of limitations on the 2004 raid on
the UofI lab has now expired, rendering any potential testimony useless to
a properly-functioning grand jury.
