Reflections on the Cuban Revolution
An eyewitness presentation with Craig Rosebraugh

As the global community awoke on February 19, 2008 to the news of Fidel
Castro’s resignation, U.S. politicians, along with Florida’s Little
Havana, were in celebration of the impending change.

Local author and activist, Craig Rosebraugh, was in Cuba during this
historic changing of the guard. Come see his presentation and hear his
reflections on the current state of life and politics in this unique
Caribbean nation.

This event is a benefit for Marie Mason. $5-$10 sliding scale admission.

Marie is a local school teacher and loving mother of two in the MidWest.
On March 10, 2008 Marie was arrested by FBI, Homeland Security, and local
police and charged with the 2000 destruction of logging equipment and the
1999 arson at Michigan State University. This is the latest development in
what has been dubbed the Green Scare, a recent wave of government
repression aimed at disrupting and discrediting grassroots environmental
activism and criminalizing dissent.
