Nadia Winstead Grand Jury Update.

Great news! My hearing went really well, better than expected.
Judge Illston stated at first that she was inclined to deny our motion
for disclosure of unlawful electronic surveillance. She heard
arguments from both sides. She seemed irritated at what the
government had provided as a response to our motion and started to
question by what means had I been called as a witness in the first
place. Because the government has not been asked to provide or file
this information they did not answer. Judge Illston said she needed
more time to decide on the motion and stated that she will contact us
for another hearing.

Thanks to everyone who was able to come, it meant so much to me to
have people behind me showing their support and disgust for this
backward grand jury.

Please try to get the morning off to come out and support Ariana on
the 5th. She came to my hearing to support me and when she got up to
go to the bathroom, two FBI agents, sitting in the audience, ran after
her to re-subpoena her for Oct. 5th -when she has already been
notified by her attorney of this date.
